Thai Airways

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, trading as THAI is the flag carrier airline of Thailand. Formed in 1988, the airline has its corporate headquarters in Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, and primarily operates out of Suvarnabhumi Airport. THAI is a founding member of the Star Alliance. The airline is the largest shareholder of the low-cost carrier Nok Air with a 39 percent stake, and it launched a regional carrier under the name Thai Smile in the middle of 2012 using new Airbus A320 aircraft.

Fleet
Thai Airways has a strong fleet size of 82 aircrafts excluding the Aircrafts for the Regional Carrier Thai Smile. The average fleet age is 9.1 years. The current fleet includes Airbus 320, Airbus 330 & Airbus 380 and the Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777 & the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Network
From its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport, THAI flies to 78 destinations in 35 countries, using a fleet of more than 80 aircraft. The airline was once the operator of two of the world's longest non-stop routes between Bangkok and Los Angeles and New York City, but due to high fuel prices, the withdrawal of aircraft, luggage weight limits and rising airfares, the airline abandoned all non-stop US services. Thai Airways network is dominated by flights to Europe, East Asia, and South/Southwest Asia, though the airline serves five cities in Oceania.

The Thai Sky Connect helps passengers to use their Laptop, Tablet or Smart Phone to connect to the Internet during flights.Entertainment option for all passengers with a list of blockbuster movies, TV Shows, music on offer to make their travel memorable. Thai offers a wonderful cuisine option for its passengers, however culinary services vary between flights according to the unique character of each route .In-flight services are classified into Royal First Class, Royal Silk Class, Premium Economy and Economy class.
